Andrée Tracey

Andrée Tracey is a St. Pete painter and collage artist with a love of color and pictorial drama. She works in a variety of subject matter, from joyful abstract florals to exotic landscapes best described as “magic realism”.  Two reoccurring themes in her work are the effects of global warming and Civilization vs Nature. She finds inspiration in dreams, amateur photography, mythology and fairy tales.

Her artwork has been collected by museums including the Tampa Museum of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago as well as private individuals. She has exhibited her work nationally and internationally as well as with local venues such as Five Deuces Galleria, Studio 620, Mize Gallery and the Morean Arts Center.

Like all interesting dreams, her paintings are open to individual interpretation. Her hope is that you enjoy viewing them as much as as she did in creating them.

She welcomes studio visits by appointment.
